Funding
15 & 30 Hours Funded Childcare
We’re thrilled to offer families the opportunity to benefit from the government’s 15 and 30 hours funding programs for 3 year olds. With the 15 hours funding, families can enjoy a significant reduction in childcare costs, while the extended 30 hours funding provides even greater flexibility for working parents.
All families with children aged 3 and above, will be eligible to benefit from the Universal Entitlement (15 hours) but it will depend on income and working hours to whether you are eligible for the Extended Entitlement (30 hours).
It is the responsibility of the parent to check eligibility on the Government website and you must provide the nursery with a 30 hour eligibility code that can be checked with the Local Authority prior to applying for the funding.

Tax Free Childcare
As working parents, you may be eligible to receive up to £2,000 per year using the Tax Free Childcare scheme.
If you choose to use this, you will set up an online account where you select your chosen provider. The Government will top-up the money that you pay into the account. For every £8 paid in, the Government will add an extra £2. You can get a total of £500 per 3 months.
Please note, you are able to use this scheme as well as claim for the 3 year old funding.

We ask one parent to attend with your child in the classroom for the first session which is half an hour. The timings then increase gradually each day until the last session is nearly a full day.
At Blossom Tree, it is mandatory for all children above the age of two to wear a uniform. We can provide details of where to purchase this upon starting with us.
The Ofsted recommended ratios are 1:3 for the Under 2’s, 1:5 for the Over 2’s and 1:8 for the Over 3’s. At Blossom Tree, we choose to follow a ratio of 1:4 for our Over 2’s and where possible, provide a higher ratio of adults to children in all of the classrooms to help us to maintain the high quality of care we provide to the children.
