Sessions
“I have always been passionate about working with children and providing a home away from home for them. Their smiling faces will always light up a dull day and I feel that as I teach the children, I learn at the same time. My favourite part of working with children is when they grasp a skill or activity for the first time, and I love to see the look of joy on their face. This is the reason I love what I do. Every single day is a day to learn and try something new!”

For our youngest children, the Ladybirds room is where children develop their first love for learning. We put in place the core principles of Montessori from the outset, encouraging children to be inquisitive about their environment and be independent about the activities they choose, and excited to be at nursery.
Our Caterpillars classroom is where we lay the foundation of Montessori principles. Here, children embark on a journey of self-discovery as they begin to independently select Montessori activities. Under the guidance of our experienced Montessori Teachers and Nursery Practitioners, they serve as gentle guides, nurturing confidence and capability in every child.
In our Butterflies classroom, children are actively embedding their Montessori practices, cultivating greater independence in their learning journey. Our dedicated practitioners focus on preparing the children for transition to the Bumblebees classroom by nurturing their independence in essential life skills such as independent eating and personal hygiene.
In our Bumblebees classroom, the children are fully immersed in Montessori activities and our expert teachers act as guides to support and scaffold the children’s learning and development. The Montessori activities enhance the children’s independence, social skills, concentration and children learn about the wider world around them through interactive learning. The schools children go to specifically comment upon how mature and well prepared Blossom Tree children are when they start with them.
In total, we have three outdoor spaces for the children to use. Our main outdoor space is a purpose built garden which is a vibrant area for exploration, discovery and learning. Each day the garden is set up with fun, engaging activities for the children to explore. Under the guidance of our experienced educators, children explore scientific concepts, develop fine and gross motor skills and become involved in sensory-rich experiences.
Our second outdoor space is our Courtyard. We use this space to bring small groups of children to focus on specific activities.
Our third outdoor space is a gated grassed area in between our car park and the farms field. This space offers fantastic views of the field where the horses often come to say hello. This area offers ample room for children to freely roam and enhance their physical skills through exploration. We believe that spending time outdoors is essential for children's well-being and development and we encourage outdoor play in all safe weather conditions.
Extra Curricular Activities...
Our Spanish class is designed to ignite a love for language from a young age where the children are engaged through interactive games and familiar songs. With a skilled and enthusiastic teacher leading the way, our children explore and learn basic words and phrases while also appreciating different cultures.
Our Mindfulness class provides valuable tools to encourage the children to talk about their feelings, share experiences and listen to others. These sessions not only teach vital life skills but also foster a sense of wonder and inquisitiveness in our young learners, setting a beautiful foundation for a lifetime of well-being.
Tappy Toes is all about music and movement. The children get to dance, play with different textures, and enjoy listening to different sounds! It's a great way for them to learn and have fun at the same time. They'll learn to move to the beat, feel different textures, and express themselves through music.
During cooking class, each session is a delightful blend of creativity and hands-on learning. The children get involved in measuring out, mixing ingredients and decorating delicious treats. Our cooking class not only teaches children essential cooking skills but also instills a love for healthy eating.
Our sports class is a dynamic opportunity for children to explore the joy of movement and teamwork in a supportive environment. Led by experienced coaches, these sessions help the children to follow instructions and learn new physical skills. From kicking balls to using tennis rackets, children develop fundamental motor skills while building confidence.
...And Experiences
At Blossom Tree, our aim is to provide children with enriching experiences that fosters their development and deepens their learning. From trips to the Farm and Natural History Museum, to visits from Owls, a Petting Farm, Fire Fighters, a Dentist and Policemen, we love to provide endless opportunities to the children so they are able to learn all about the world around them. Every year, the children have the opportunity to watch the life cycle of a Butterfly and also get to witness the beginning of a duckling’s or chick’s life as they observe the hatching of their eggs.
At Blossom Tree, we understand the importance of building healthy habits and providing children with balanced and nutritious meals that support their growth and development. Our dedicated chefs on-site prepare fresh meals daily.
We build strong partnerships between home and our nursery to ensure each individual child has the most effective learning experience. The Parent App gives you ultimate peace of mind and more involvement in your child’s journey.
